Holmestrand Fjord Sauna

Our floating fjord saunas Alma and Eira are located in the center of Holmestrand, right next to the town's recreation area and only a 5-minute walk from the railway and bus. Here you can sauna, take a sea bath, enjoy the sunrise, see swans, ducks, eiders and seals.
Membership
Membership in Holmestrand sauna association offers advantages over taking individual lessons and drop-ins. If you are over 23 years old, it only costs 400 NOK per month. Young people aged 16 to 23 get membership at half price. Monthly members can take the communal sauna every day at no extra cost and all members can bring a guest at half price in the communal sauna and discounted prices on rituals. Annual members pay 100 NOK for the communal sauna and youth members, only 50 NOK. For the avid sauna user, we have a full-year subscription at a discounted price and the same rights as a monthly subscription.
Welcome to our saunas Alma and Eira
Open every day of the year; weekdays in Alma from 06:30 and Eira from 07:00. On weekends we open a little later. You should have peace when taking a sauna, so unlike many other saunas, we offer a 1-hour communal sauna with a half-hour break between each session. You can come a little before the class, change, preferably shower (Eira has a hot shower inside, Alma has a cold shower outside) and get ready without stressing and then finish when the class is over and get dressed at your leisure.
Every Sunday morning we have a Quiet Sauna . Our sauna masters take you on a number of activities, such as Bath Ritual with world champion Jerome, Aufguss , BadstuTrimmen and Sensin' Sauna with our sauna masters. Yoga teacher Mari has Badstuyoga. If you want to have the sauna for yourself, family or friends, you can book a Private Sauna , either 1 hour or two consecutive hours - then you get a total of 2.5 hours .
